Hong Kong celebrity cuisine critic, and film producer, Choi Lan was in Melbourne this week.  He is leading a gourmet restaurant tour of Melbourne.  The Hong De Lion was asked for an impromptu performance for him when he happened to be having lunch at the same restaurant as the team during a break between performances.  Our team created a bit of noise in Chinatown as we started outside Westlake and proceeded upstairs to greet Choi Lan.  He was pleasantly surprised and graced us with a group photo afterwards.  Later that night, he was with his tour group in Shoya and he dotted our new Futsan lion outside the restaurant.
