Hong De Lions were at several locations during the last three weeks of Chinese New Year, bringing traditional Chinese cultural celebrations to people out in suburbia. We were at several restaurants from Eastern Palace in Rowville to Seven Stars and Fongs in East Bentleigh to Humble House in Brighton to China Tea, Coco Chine and Cyclo de Saigon in Point Cook and to Coco Chine in Caroline Springs. We also performed at several hotels - Seasons Heritage and Seasons Botanic Gardens in St Kilda, Langham Hotel in Southbank and Westwaters Hotel in Caroline Springs. This year we also performed at several CNY house blessings in Essendon, East Hawthorn and Brighton. Our business bookings also came from Synnex in South Oakleigh, Barry Plant in Doncaster, Australian Tax Office in Box Hill, Orient Express Travel in Melbourne and Famous Pacific Shipping in Keilor. Over three mornings during CNY, our lion was entertaining International arrivals and departures at Melbourne Airport. It was great to put a smile on everyone's faces when they saw our lion! Our last performance during the CNY period was a street parade in Barkly Street, Ararat. Again it was worth the two hour trip there as the locals have never seen firecrackers before, let alone a lion!
Thank you to all the businesses who have supported us again this year, some have already confirmed bookings for next year already!!
