Another beautiful and sunny day in the All Nations Park in Northcote on Sunday 14th March. The Hong De Lion performed at the Darebin Kite Festival in a parade followed by a performance in the Kids Area. The lion joined the Red Brigade, performers from North Eastern Melbourne Chinese Association, China Dolls on stilts and African drummers in a parade around the park. There were lots of kites in the air that day with lots of family groups watching all the entertainment that day. A big thanks to Emily and Katelyn for organising the event.
