Chinese New Year @ Lalor

Lalor LibraryOn Saturday 20th February, the Hong De Lion was performing shop blessings in May Road and Station Street, Lalor. We lit several strings of firecrackers that day, much to the amusement of locals shopping in the area. The Chinese New Year celebration was organised by the Whittlesea Chinese Association in conjunction with the Lalor Library. Our lion also performed at the Library and at the May Road Senior Citizens Centre as part of cultural entertainment organised by the WCA. A big thanks to Arthur Yong and Albert Yew for organising and advertising the event. See below for more photos from the day...

Bookings for Chinese New Year lion dances are now open. Please book early to avoid disappointment. All confirmed bookings are advertised on our website and will be announced on Twitter and Facebook.
